Jamie started swimming for a summer swim team when she was 7. Jenna followed the next year when she was five and then Darin began when he was five. If I'm counting right, then for the last 18 years, we have had at least one swimmer on the summer swim team. Last Tuesday night was the last swim meet for the Gilreath family. Greystone Swim Club always honors their seniors on the last night so it was fun to see Darin standing with his friends. All seven seniors attended the same high school and four of them have swam together for more than 10 years.Darin going off the block
Honoring the seniors
Wednesday was swim team awards and again they honored the seniors and gave them a gift to send them on their way. The swim team has been so much a part of our lives and we have grown to love so many families that it's hard to see it end...
