Last night Darin went to the temple for the first time. If you're not LDS, then you may wonder what the significance is. Temples are holy places of worship where individuals make sacred covenants or promises with God. These promises help you to become closer to God and to feel His spirit more readily in your life if you do your best to keep them. It is a big step to go to the temple and to make those covenants.
It's hard to believe that he begins his mission in 35 days. I'm going to miss him!!

We are so proud of Darin!! He's a great example and looks so grown up in these pictures :(
He looks so grown up. Thank you for inviting us to go the temple - it was a special evening. I had to leave because I cried and cried all the way home. They are grown up and when did it happen?
I have to stop reading blogs so I will stop CRYING... We are so excited for Darin. Please make sure we know how to send him stuff/contact him.
